ECCO Walkathon

ECCO Walkathon

Every step counts. Also in this year's ECCO Walkathon, which is held for the 21st year, where we collect for the SOS Children's Villages and Hjerteforeningen (Heart Association in Denmark). This year's ECCO Walkathon changes from a physical event to an online event - where we walk together, separately.

Fortunately, despite the cancellation at Rosenborg Castle, we can still walk for a good cause September 12. By simply sharing a photo from your walk on Instagram with the hashtag #eccowalkathon, ECCO donates DKK 37.5 (equivalent to € 5) to Hjerteforeningen / SOS Children's Villages.

WHAT IS ECCO WALKATHON?

IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO WALK
More than 490,000 people have participated over the years and have walked just over 4 million kilometers, equivalent to 10 times around the globe, and collected more than DKK 30 million. (equivalent to € 225 million).
This year, you are donating to the organizations by simply sharing a photo from your Instagram walk with the hashtag #eccowalkathon. For each picture, DKK 37.5 (equivalent to € 5) is donated.

ECCO WALKATHON, SEPTEMBER 12.

LIVESTREAM FROM ROSENBORG CASTLE
On September 12., you must find the good walking shoes and use your feet to raise money for SOS Children's Villages and Hjerteforeningen (Heart Association in Denmark). This year's ECCO Walkathon will be something very special, as it gives the opportunity to go for a walk for the good causes from home throughout Denmark, and five other European countries including Sweden, Norway, Poland, Germany and United Kingdom.

As something very special this year, it will be streamed live from the stage at Rosenborg Castle. Jacob Riising makes sure that we get off to a good start, and end with the presentation of the check and a musical loop with the singer Jonah Blacksmith. You can register for the ECCO Walkathon event on Facebook - here the program for September 12. will also be announced.
